Cryptosporidiosis
Cryptosporidiosis is a protozoal disease that is transmitted through fecal-oral route. Contamination and ingestion of soil, food, water, or surfaces with feces from infected humans or animals. Symptoms diarrhea, dehydration. Effects are individuals with compromised immune systems, young children and pregnant women are at the greatest risk. Diarrhea, dehydration, abdominal cramps, fatigue, nausea, vomiting and low grade fever are the most common symptoms.
